From idea to your next Figma plugin

Not just the pitch.

From the creator of UI Table Builder and Variables Doc Designer. The next step: turn that plugin-building experience into a starting point for you.

Your idea is the feature.
Start there.

A collection of generated files isn’t a finished foundation. The goal is a small, understandable starter you can extend yourself—or put in front of your AI editor.

01 / PREVIEW

A UI that has a place for everything.

A canvas up top, quick actions within reach, and settings that stay out of the way until you need them.

02 / EXTEND

Give your AI editor a useful starting point.

The first edition is being designed around typed UI-to-Figma messages, reusable components and worked examples. Keep your focus on your feature.

Made to be extended
03 / SHIP

A path beyond “it works on my machine.”

The goal: clear setup documentation, useful release notes and a Gumroad licensing example that runs with your own backend.

Your accounts. Your brand.
The intended workflow

A shorter path from
“what if” to working.

01

Start from the kit

A versioned source release with a working example and clear setup instructions.

02

Build your thing

Change the branding, add your feature, and use prompts with a codebase that has context.

03

Test, then publish

Verify inside Figma, configure your services and ship under your own brand.

A few things to know

Before you join.

Can I buy or download the kit today?

Not yet. Explore the interactive demo and join early access to hear about the first release. The full source-code kit is in development.

Will I need to know how to code?

Expect a source-code product. AI editors can help, but you’ll still need to run a development environment, review changes and test your plugin in Figma.

Can I change the branding and sell my plugin?

That’s the intended use: customize a starter and ship your own finished plugin. Final commercial-license and update terms will be published before any purchase is offered.

How will updates work?

The current plan is numbered source releases with release notes and migration instructions. Updates won’t silently overwrite your customized project. Delivery and update entitlements will be confirmed before launch.

What about Miro, Adobe Express and Framer?

Figma comes first. Other hosts may follow if the first edition proves useful. They are not included or promised in this early-access signup.

Is this affiliated with Figma?

No. figmaplugin.dev is an independent project by Plus UI Design. Figma is a trademark of its respective owner.
